Dean Reeves

Olympic BMX Racer

Halfway through 2023, Dean was involved in an accident on a racing track, leaving him unconscious for 2 minutes and with 30 minutes of memory loss. On top of this, he suffered with ligament damage to his hand, a separated shoulder injury and a knee that gave way every 5 or so steps, as well as a large amount of swelling that would not go down. After 2 weeks of no progress in the knee, he was pleased to show no signs of a concussion. He began by approaching a wide range of recommended rehabilitation techniques, including physiotherapy

Paul O’Hara (Clinical Director) decided to sponsor Dean due to his long-standing involvement with Olympic Athletes, which meant he was able to customise his rehabilitation programs and exercise routines to prepare him for all upcoming events. In November 2023, Dean was awarded African Continental Champion 2023, and has qualified the country (Morocco) to compete at the Olympics in Paris 2024. Dean, you are an inspiration and a true pleasure to work with. We are so proud of everything you have achieved! Lets see what the future holds.

Athlete Sponsor - Serita Soloman

British 60m Hurdles Champion

Serita Solomon, former British 60m Hurdles Champion and European Indoor bronze medallist, has left an indelible mark on athletics and on our clinic. Competing for Blackheath & Bromley Harriers, she achieved international recognition in 2015 with the 6th fastest time in the world, while consistently ranking in the top three nationally.

Her career was defined not only by podium finishes but also by resilience. Overcoming two Achilles tendon ruptures, Serita demonstrated extraordinary determination — a quality that inspired everyone around her.

Back on Track Physiotherapy had the privilege of supporting Serita with physiotherapy treatment from the age of 14 through to her professional career. Although she has now retired from competition, the legacy of her dedication, strength, and perseverance lives on within the very foundation of our clinic. The lessons learned through her journey continue to shape the way we care for and support every athlete who walks through our doors.
